There are quite a few suppliers who deliver directly to the builder and also do the quantity survey; the future builder then has a kit price. I keep wondering where the problem lies in getting the stone price per m² or kit on request from the house providers; the answer is simple, I then know what the provider adds to the kit price for their so-called service (wants to earn), and that can be so enormous that doing it yourself actually isn’t worth it. It should be so simple and quick to lay the stones, so the labor costs for a guide can’t be that high. Guiding supports cost about €300 and the guide about €200 - 300 per day, about 6 days times €300 is €1800 plus the guiding supports!! That is already money, and if there still has to be a profit on the kit (because of the service and so on, the office, brochures, etc.), it becomes clear that it is better to hide everything in one worry-free package. At the building materials trade, I can ask for any price; when buying a car I also learn what the extras cost. So ask, what does the stone package, ceiling, roof frame, guidance cost? I think it’s not too much to expect an answer to that if I want to save money by my own labor. If I don’t get an answer, I look for the provider who tells me the price. Almost every stone manufacturer surely has a partner who gives me this answer. It is the builder’s money, the customer is king, and I maintain that without the individual prices, walls, ceiling, roof frame, service, I won’t build a house.
