Hello,

I need some well-meaning advice from you regarding the following situation:

We bought a building plot last year but do not plan to build anytime soon. This plot is in the middle between two other plots that are now being built on. One neighbor came to us before his construction project, had us sign his floor plan, and asked if they could possibly store their excavation material on our plot temporarily. Since we did not plan to build soon, we allowed them to do so. Everything was fine, they were nice, and everything fit.

About two weeks later, neighbor number 2 started excavating for their foundation slab, and since last week their excavation material is also on our plot, along with various building materials. Now we are a bit annoyed because no one asked us if that was okay; they just did it.

Basically, it doesn’t bother me that something is lying there, but they could have at least asked?! I’m thinking about talking to the construction workers tonight and telling them they are not allowed to store anything on my plot. What would you do in my situation?

What’s more, we don’t even know who neighbor 2 is nor have we ever signed or approved any plan. How is that possible? Especially since neighbor 2 is building outside the development plan. It was stipulated that the garden should be on the north side (which is why we didn’t buy that plot back then), but now he is building with the house on the north side. That annoys me too, since he can now better look into our future garden.

These are all great conditions again for the future.

I would appreciate your support.

Just call the building authority, they can give you the name and address. Then you can inform him that the excavation has to be removed again.

What does this signing nonsense mean? I don’t need to get anything signed by the neighbor. The only thing I have to comply with is the development plan. I also think it’s nice if you ask beforehand... but I wouldn’t get upset about it. Here, they put up an electric fence and the horses stood on our land for 2 years. Nobody asked me... it didn’t bother me either. When we started, I just briefly informed the riding stable and the fence was gone the next day. Done.

You’re making way too much stress... I don’t want you as a neighbor

In Bavaria it works differently... They are just more advanced...

By whom?

Was possibly the previous owner of your property involved, because the building permit was already granted then?

Because for you it applies:

But then it is not a "must" but a "can" regarding signing..
