Hello everyone,
We bought a house and thus took over a finished bathroom. A freestanding tub was installed here. However, the "dirty corners" bother me a lot.
I would prefer to remove the tub completely, but my husband would like to have one. The washbasin will also be changed, so there is still some space in terms of layout.
I thought about simply building a kind of wall around it. But of course, I have no idea how. We don't have any additional wall tiles.
We would also buy a new tub if the problem could be solved, it doesn't have to be oval either. The corner, of course, does not have a right angle.
Do you maybe have ideas about what is possible?
Thanks a thousand in advance.

Do you possibly have a bathroom floor plan overall?

Without knowing the floor plan and only looking at the corners, tiles, and fixtures, there are two options:
1. (preferred) completely remove
2. put in a lot of effort with high costs. It will never look nice in such a crooked space – not to mention the necessary tiles for, for example, a bathtub surround. Or a proper moisture barrier in the corners (if a tub is to be placed against the wall). Etc. I would definitely want to avoid all of that.

= 3. Your husband cleans (around) the tub.

Thank you! I will first try once again to do without the bathtub.

The bathtub in that spot is really "semiprächtig" according to the pictures. But completely giving up a bathtub? Do you have a second bathroom? I don't know any woman who doesn't like to lie in a hot bathtub during the cold months. So I wouldn't give it up entirely.
