Should I choose an acrylic or steel enamel bathtub?

Thank you very much for your tips. I'll keep the lemon juice idea in mind. Sounds good. Let's see if it will be a freestanding tub. I personally find those suuuper awesome. They look great. And there are also the wildest shapes. :o

Exactly, and I also like freestanding bathtubs and we have one in a grape cluster shape. It’s always a question of how much space is available.

I have another question: some acquaintances and also some friends say their acrylic tub makes noises when getting in and out. Like creaking. :confused: Are they installed incorrectly so that they give way too much, or what could be the cause?

Hm... hard to say: as far as I know, there shouldn't be any creaking or other noises. It's possible that the substructure is not properly processed and the tubs might have "too much play." But maybe someone here knows better.

Well, I also don't know of any noises or creaking. The bathtub was probably installed incorrectly. I have a sanitary acrylic bathtub and especially in winter I find it pleasantly warm.
