Hello everyone,
we are currently in the middle of building a house (purchase from the developer) and are currently stuck with the bathroom planning.
At first, we wanted to keep the room layout, but we had the following special requests:

- Shower 90x90 (walk-in)
- Shower rod etc. concealed with
rain shower
- Bathtub 180x80

Allegedly, the passage between the edge of the bathtub and the shower enclosure then becomes too narrow.
Today, friends came up with the idea to possibly simply change the arrangements in the bathroom. For example, the bathtub in front of the window.
Do you perhaps have a few suggestions for me on how the layout can be designed? That would be really great.
I have attached the floor plan.
Thanks already

I thought so too, however, the additional 10cm have not yet been installed. The standard was an 80x80 shower as well as a 170x70 bathtub. That’s why I’m asking you

I think I would also rearrange the bathroom if the drawing has not yet been adjusted. However, I would always opt for at least a 100x100cm shower myself, it’s simply more comfortable. 80x80 "is really not an option," at least if you are taller than 1.80m. 90x90 might be okay, but at least 100x100 would always be my choice.

As for the arrangement, how about:

- Rotate the bathtub under the window (which direction do you look out of the window?)
- In the corner at the bottom left that then arises, you could build a shelving unit or place a bathroom cabinet
- Leave the shower in the corner (possibly a bit longer 90x100 and with folding doors?!)
- Toilet in the place of the washbasin or on the left side
- Washbasin accordingly

That could be one possibility, but you have to sketch it out! One way to do this is to create the individual items as "paper cutouts" and then you can "puzzle" them around.

Sorry for the late reply, currently a lot of appointments are happening at once. In principle, that doesn’t sound bad. What would you say about mirroring the bathtub and the sink/toilet? Then both would be next to each other, but the passage would of course be much wider. If I haven’t miscalculated and would leave it at a 90 cm shower and a 180 cm bathtub, then the passage with a fixed shower partition would only be 60 cm. It could only be enlarged with folding doors, especially since the shower is tiled flush with the floor. Questions upon questions.

Does the position of the toilet drain then fit with the ground floor? Because the bathroom is on the upper floor – right?
