Hello dear ones,
unfortunately I still haven’t finished mounting my front due to missing tools. Now I have everything and can’t move forward.
I will upload a photo of the problem shortly. I drilled the necessary holes into the front using the drilling template and put in the first two screws, hung the whole thing up. Now I’m supposed to mount the spacers at the top of the dishwasher. From the instructions, I would read that I’m supposed to attach the two spacers 7 and 4 cm together, then push the front up and mount the remaining screws. If I do that, the front would block at the bottom on the baseboard when opening the machine.
Also, in the illustration in the assembly instructions it looks as if the two strips are supposed to be plugged together so that the hooks are not visible, but the recesses are – hope you understand what I mean. The strips are actually foolproof, you can’t put them together the wrong way, but then the hooks stick out at the bottom of the second strip (or also at the one if I only mount one instead of two) and create a gap between the strip and the front. Is it really supposed to be like that?

The front must align at the bottom with the fronts of the other cabinets. Often, the plinth below a dishwasher needs to be shortened slightly to allow the door to open. I don’t know which hooks and holes you mean. Under the front panel, strips are usually inserted to compensate for different front heights. A gap should not be visible. Clip on as many strips as needed to cover everything. My Bosch had no hooks facing down. Do it in a way that you are satisfied.

Ok. I find the baseboard thing pretty annoying, I actually don't want to shorten it, what does it look like?!? Well, I will give it a try.
About the hooks: You can see them in the photo, they basically extend down from the placeholder and would then grab into the next placeholder and visually disappear if you mounted one. I don't quite understand how I’m supposed to finish the strips, because the hooks would then hit the front panel and create a few mm of empty space.
I hope this was a bit clearer.
Thanks already for the help!

It is not very much that you have to leave out from the baseboard in the area of the dishwasher. You only notice that when you lie on the floor or look at it from a great distance.

I just took a look at the installation manual. It is quite stupid. Hooks on the strips, should they also be drawn, especially since Ikea explains almost exclusively with pictures.
If I understood it correctly, then all the strips have these hooks and they cannot be installed with the hooks facing upwards. In that case, I would look for the suitable ones (according to the instructions the 4mm 7mm strips) and remove the hooks on the lower one.

Good idea. I will try it and then let you know if it worked.
