Um....I think that's worth talking about, but the situation is still current, so it can't be discussed publicly.
If there is a need, gladly by phone, I hope you understand that.
Right of way can also have limits and pitfalls, under various circumstances or lead to problems elsewhere.
In this case, one should in my opinion be glad about neighbor A’s reaction, which I consider not necessarily usual, as people have already fought tooth and nail over less.
Enforceable? That was the question for us, whether we want to "enforce" something or rather live in peace. With a changed mood or property situation always expect a "blue letter"?? Maybe because of our age we might no longer be able to defend ourselves appropriately sometime??
Peace, clarity, and a pleasant neighborhood are important goods for us. Maybe something can be enforced... someday... somehow... but years of stressful lifetime pass to "enforce" something and in the end, it usually comes down to some sort of compromise or there are always enough ways to make life unpleasant for the other.
From an outside perspective and with our experiences, this whole "case" here is simply not worth mentioning, but rather neighborly pleasing; I hope the OP can soon shift his thoughts and feel happiness about it.

For me as a layman, yes! If I buy a car with a spare tire and it is not there, the seller is not off the hook just because he didn't check!
