we have one with the twin dos and don't need to buy detergent anymore. the laundry really gets clean, we don't need or rarely use all the great features. but somehow have every possible feature on board.

for the presumably expensive twin-dos?
But that has nothing to do with pre-ironing, or did I misunderstand that?

For documentation, I took some photos of a few laundry pieces.
Normal wash cycle, without pre-ironing, 60°, maximum spin speed.
Dried on the line for two days.

Next time and if I remember, I'll also try the whole thing with pre-ironing.

Here is also a photo of laundry with pre-ironing. There are clearly fewer wrinkles in the clothes, but that doesn’t mean they are wrinkle-free. I also don’t know if the fewer wrinkles come from the "pre-ironing" or simply because the laundry comes out warm (without pre-ironing, the laundry comes out cold from the machine).

I have such a machine, but from V-Zug, and have had it for years and am very satisfied with the device.

Ironing shirts starts when shopping

The best so-called non-iron shirts in 100% cotton are from Seidensticker, Olymp, Eterna, & Kauf. I can load the machine with 7-8 shirts (a week's supply); of course, the shirts must be hung on hangers to dry immediately as soon as the steam program is finished. I lightly iron the dry shirts briefly with a good steam iron (e.g. Tefal) before folding them – that goes very quickly. You could also wear them without ironing again; after half an hour of wearing, you probably won't see a difference whether the shirts were ironed briefly again or not.

With regular shirts, the difference in time required is of course even greater.

What a variety there is. I must be an oddball, I have a completely normal washing machine that just washes and nothing else. I also have high-quality clothing.
