We are looking for a freestanding parcel mailbox – like one of those things where the parcel delivery person can drop off packages and there is an extra compartment on top for regular mail.
We would also like a system where packages can be deposited from above by any parcel delivery person (airlock technology) and not with a lock that causes only the first delivery person to unload their cargo, then the parcel compartment is locked (or the delivery person does not lock it, then anyone can access it).
Since we don’t have a fence and this box should be friendly for mail carriers and parcel delivery people standing by the street, it must be freestanding.
Has anyone had experience with such a device? Which company can you recommend? The thing should be rainproof since it is standing by the street without a roof above and should not rust quickly. Appearance: modern, please nothing cute in the style of the turn of the last century or something like that.

Your mentioned requirements speak in favor of the Mypaketkasten. It would also match the house design-wise. Unfortunately, I cannot provide any experience. We have also dealt extensively with the topic and decided on the equbo from Renz with multiple package compartments. It is also available without the electronics. Nevertheless, you pay a considerable premium for the name.

Desired location (Terrace cushion box) never had anything stolen. Even once forgot a package and found it in spring. It was like Christmas.

Please also check whether the parcel box and the expected parcel size match. I have had several orders recently where the parcel box would have been completely unusable. I have now granted a delivery authorization for the electronically locked garage.

Sorry, typo and accidentally rated the topic. The solution with an open box only works in "safe areas". More of a retrofit solution. Climbee wants a solution with a mailbox.

For larger packages, my mother lives next door. Since the shipments are usually announced, this can be arranged.

We receive quite a lot sent to us (yeah yeah, internet shopping - but for working people it's just practical) and I want to make it a bit easier for the parcel deliverers and put up a box into which most shipments fit.

I have already looked at Renz, rick, but I didn’t find anything suitable with this airlock technique - and multiple parcel boxes - well... the thing shouldn't be bigger than our house.

We already live in a relatively safe area, but as I said, I know how these parcel deliverers are burdened, and I don't want to make them walk around the house every time.
