exactly these kinds of answers help a lot! top!

The picture is just meant to be a food for thought.

Why am I naive?! Because I’m asking here?! My God, were you all born with wisdom?! The most you can probably do first is inform yourself, right, or not?!

How would you approach it?! Leave everything in the hands of a builder and pay length x width?!

With the mentioned 100-150k you can probably build a simple "hall" in an L-shape without interior walls and without plaster, without kitchen, etc. Basically a shell for self-build.

Ps: I am a technical draftsman for metal components, i.e. milling, turning, laser, and bending parts. Possibly also small assemblies, but I never said I was a building draftsman.

Best regards

You are "apparently" naive because you do not make the effort to acquire the absolute basic knowledge regarding homeownership. It starts with the use of incorrect terms. At least, that is not how I approached it...

What is the absolute basic knowledge?! Where is that written?! Where do you even start?! And where does it end?

People like you are rather naive because they think humans can't create anything bigger than themselves. A house is just a modern hut; as mentioned at the beginning, it should be built as simply and cheaply and without extras as possible. No idea what other amateur builders always have against a cheap build, after all, YOU don't have to live in it, I do!

If I can get a complete prefab house including extras for 250k ready-made from a company, why shouldn't my "cheap variant" with own labor work out for 150?!

Didn't I already mention at the beginning that I am half-knowledgeable? - and then you come along and say I don't even know all the terms..?!?
That's like the teacher scolding little Max for not already knowing the answer to his question.. Double standards?!

Then tell me where I should get information.. if you had read my post, you would have noticed that I asked exactly that, namely where I can get information.. save your time if you don't want to answer questions and move on, thanks!

By "builder" you probably mean architect? Someone has to submit the building application. And such a simple bungalow hall with a flat roof will not be permitted everywhere by the building authority. And if so, rather in extravagantly expensive villa areas...[emoji6]

That's right, I meant in the post that it shouldn't be taken into account for now because of the regulations. I'm only concerned about the construction costs. Apart from that, there are already many such "smooth" bungalows in my area, just not in the L-shape with a glass front. I didn't know that the room layout is crucial for a building permit. Here, it was always said that it has to fit into the local image (I'm from Austria).

Best regards

L is too expensive. Rectangle. Flat roof too expensive, gable roof 25 degrees is the cheapest. Large glass front too expensive. One patio door must suffice. Wood heating works with pellets, but gas is the cheapest. Alternatively and barely more expensive, air-water heat pump. Take a look at Danwood bungas. They know how to do it cheaply. 100 sqm for 150 is possible. Only the house without all additional costs and without land. You need around 300. Karsten
