Hello,
here I am again!
The oversized bathroom cabinet with two sinks is really getting on my nerves, but my wife is firmly convinced that we will need them someday. We have a 4-month-old daughter, and if it ever happens that all three (or hopefully four) of us want to leave the house together, we are grateful for every sink.
I see it differently – we still have a guest bathroom, and with a little planning, that shouldn't be a problem.
I think we will go with floor plan 2, with the toilet niche. If the window weren't so big, it wouldn't be a problem at all, but as it is, we are forced either to place a 1.80 m long shower on the wall next to the window or to relocate the shower elsewhere.
We don’t want a bathtub, we are sure about that now. We lie in the tub at most twice a year, and only because of colds – and if we feel like relaxing, we go to the spa, not to the home bathtub.
As much as we are happy to be involved in the floor plan, sometimes I wish the construction company would just tell us "This is how it's going to be done, take it or leave it"... :-(
