Maybe take a look at Roller,... wood-effect decor is basically the social housing of furniture surfaces and more of a case for the furniture discounter.

Not to argue about taste, but foil with a wood print is actually not found with "renowned" manufacturers. The melamine fronts there are white or solid colored, whereby you very quickly arrive at (matte) lacquer. Wood is always real. You won’t find prints there; Myrna’s hint is not entirely wrong ... Roller, in-house brands of large furniture stores, Ikea.

There are now shelf shops online with modular systems. Maybe there is something suitable there.

Now let's not exaggerate ("Roller"). There are also quality differences in decor. For example, Nolte uses foil for its higher mid-range bedroom furniture.

Also, as I said: If you think veneer is robust enough, then I am open to such recommendations (some have already come, thanks again for that!).

That's not true at all, I thanked every recommended manufacturer with a like (see last pages). There were no negative reactions to a single sensible suggestion, only positive ones. Or did you find the note that Nolte Germersheim does not produce living room furniture so negative? By the way, I will be able to look at your recommendation of Sudbrock on Thursday, hopefully more on the weekend!

I also do not assume any obligation to provide something. But it is the content of this thread to ask for recommendations. That’s why I requested a concrete recommendation after it was said that it is easily possible to find what I am looking for. Generalities like in the mentioned post do not help me at all in the search for concrete products.

You apparently are not searching but waiting for concrete recommendations. What you call "general platitudes" simply describes what you find in less than 10 seconds when you enter the general platitudes into a search engine.

I have been searching for the perfect new living room furniture for quite some time now. You yourself say that such "generalities" describe search engine results that you can find within 10 seconds. That already says everything about the usefulness of such posts.

Anyway, many thanks to the overwhelming, constructive majority who named additional manufacturers for me! This showed me significantly more options than I had in mind after the furniture store visits (there were mainly Rietberger and Iro ...). All your recommendations will be reviewed in the coming days and weeks, and then the order will finally be placed!
