We want to install a folding staircase over the balcony.
I see that most likely "blocking" the balcony door, i.e. everything that needs to be carried up there must first be transported en bloc over to the balcony railing, so that you don't have to go through the balcony door anymore, and only then do you unfold the sliding ladder.
However, my partner does not want that, because when cold meets warm, it regularly starts to mold.
What applies there in Austria? - we are here in a forum mostly populated by German builders, and correspondingly "calibrated" to the conditions according to the Energieeinsparverordnung (Energieeinsparverordnung) 2016. That means we usually draw the boundary of the "thermal envelope" above the floor slab to the attic if the roof is not inhabited.
The house does not seem to me to be planned on a tight budget; with willingness to compromise regarding headroom, I would most likely continue the storey staircase. Our regular poster has it like this: a "full-fledged", i.e., safe and comfortably walkable staircase to a storage attic, enclosed at the staircase exit and closed with a door.
Visually, roughly estimated, that should be achievable in your case with at least one point sixty meters of headroom.
However, unfortunately I do not know exactly what Wippro ultimately sees as the problem for outdoor use.
A best-before date is not an expiration date ;-) I believe here too it is mostly about the pure exclusion of warranty.
