Even light-colored slabs get hot when they lie directly in the sun. The surface makes a subjective difference.
I guess I was overcome by my subjectivity :D. I really thought it was like that, but what you say makes sense to me.
Can porcelain stoneware also be laid in a gravel bed? We don’t want to glue it yet, and we don’t like these pedestals because of the hollow cavity noises.
“Hollow cavity noises”?? Ufff, we had such pedestal slabs on the roof terrace for 30 years, and I think it’s great. The water drains perfectly, you can replace slabs, you don’t wash sand out of the joints when steaming off, etc.
Honestly, the noise thing sounds unfamiliar to me. You walk on the terrace barefoot, in flip-flops, or ordinary shoes, and I absolutely can’t imagine such a disturbing noise.
