For us, it was more a matter of chance. I had seen an advertisement from an advertising agency for the labeling of a new van with us. There was a mobile phone number on it. Then I spontaneously called and asked if he had time. During the conversation, it turned out that he had started his own business about 3 months ago. That was already two years ago and he delivered our entire outdoor area including cistern installation and complete paving of paths, carport, driveway, and terrace with the best quality. Especially since it is a young company from our town. Well, now he is also fully booked until the end of the year and sometimes drives all the way to Berlin. ;)

Landscape gardener is booming. Whether it is new installation or maintenance. My buddy has a new installation or major redesign scheduled in 2024. Fully booked for next year. Maintenance is only carried out for existing customers.

If my hands weren’t already damaged from the little amount of own work, I would retrain and also become self-employed. You wouldn’t even have to deliver the best quality to earn well in and around Berlin. Good and quickly available would be enough.

Short explanation: Since last year (about three months after the start of the first EL) I have had carpal tunnel syndrome (diagnosed) and something with the joints (not yet diagnosed). So nothing terribly serious, but it's not cool either. Fine motor skills especially no longer really work. Back and knees, strangely enough, still work (after sufficient rest between work sessions). But what wears me out even more is that in close range, from a certain darkness onward (of course way too early from my perspective) I can no longer see. I am just in my early 40s and already the body is giving up. Can you complain about that somewhere?

The two-year warranty is over. Now you can only take action in cases of fraudulent misrepresentation

I still feel so young. Almost just finished [studium]... And already worn out.
