What is the assumption about which self-performance was the cause? Sanding, polishing?

That would argue for the back, which is still okay. But screen and keyboard work certainly share some blame for presbyopia and carpal tunnel It started with numb fingers after installing the under-insulation. With sanding and painting, pain then also joined... Thank you

Oh, especially bad was spackling. I always very quickly experienced numbness and this kind of pressure pain with it. I even kind of enjoyed it.

Sounds like a combination of disposition and unfavorable stress on that very disposition.

Yes, I probably have pretty slim wrists. And the last time I worked with my hands was 15 years ago.
