Living room, separate home theater?

Analogously, men want to watch football, women want to discuss handbags ;)
Women want to watch their movie, men want to talk about the roller shutter box. From the floor plan, I think such a room can also be nicely placed in the center.

Exactly for this reason, our kitchen + dining area is one room, and the living room is a separate room. That way, you can also spend time separately on the ground floor without everyone having to do the same thing.... In principle, I think it's good if you have space to have another room to retreat to or to use as a music room or who knows what else...

But that also means that in addition to 3 children's rooms, an additional room must be created. If I understood correctly, it is supposed to be a bungalow. That requires quite a bit of land and budget to be available.

We integrated our home theater directly into the living room. Every weekend we watch Bundesliga on a projector (2.4m diagonal screen) and also like to watch a movie or series in the evenings during the week. It gets dark with roller shutters, the screen can be electrically raised, the projector is mounted on the ceiling. The speakers are small ones that are screwed directly to the wall.

Same here...

Projector *snob* - nothing beats a proper plasma ;)

Except for an HD projector with a 100-inch diagonal in the living room :)
