Thank you for the note

Also about the coating. I will pay attention to that.

Sorry, I forgot to post the crucial addition: The issue with water-soluble adhesive applies analogously to linoleum with an additional limitation: Linoleum is initially more susceptible to mechanical stress from, for example, chairs, due to the residual moisture.

How long the drying takes depends on the residual moisture of the screed.

As everywhere, the choice of flooring is a matter of taste.

Regarding the plasticizers in vinyl: These are found in cheap vinyl products, not in specialist trades. I find the plastic cover of many new buildings much worse. Just a matter of personal taste.

I wouldn’t be so sure about the former (and what exactly is meant by specialty stores? If anything, only specific products can be evaluated, IMHO.). Regarding the latter, just for understanding(!): Are you referring to polystyrene on the outside or dispersion paint on the inside, or what exactly do you mean by "plastic coating"?

When I write about goods from specialist dealers, I definitely do not mean the often overpriced B-grade goods offered in hardware stores.

Much of what can be purchased there can also be obtained as A-grade goods from building material dealers or the appropriate specialist trade. In many cases cheaper!

Plastic casing is not quite accurate (and admittedly a very crude expression) but an ETICS is also not more ecological than, for example, vinyl or laminate.

Plasticizers in vinyl floors are no longer the rule but the exception.

How can you recognize this on the actual product when buying in stores? How do you enforce this in turnkey construction if you do not purchase the flooring directly yourself? Are there any labels or similar? Regarding the ETICS ... here I would distinguish between ecological aspirations and the desire for as healthy a lifestyle as possible. The former is difficult in our civilization, the latter is already manageable. And in my opinion, the main thing is what you bring into the house.
