I can only recommend Dialux to you. It’s free, and with 1-2 YouTube videos you can nicely calculate/simulate the light output, lumens, etc. That’s how I simulated my rooms where spots are/were installed. In the bathroom, for example, I ended up with a completely different arrangement/number than originally planned. It also allows you to simulate quite well which beam angle fits best. At first, I also had the Luxvenum with 120° (I also tested it here), but I’ve now switched to the one with 60° and am quite satisfied with it.
Thanks again for the tip with Dialux. I’ve gone through several tutorials by now and was able to create the floor plan well. But after several hours of fruitless searching, it’s driving me almost crazy that I can’t find any LED recessed spotlights with a beam angle >=90° in the LUMsearch catalog. Am I just that clueless?! Luxvenum isn’t included in the catalog anyway, but the brand Paulmann is. Online I can also find lamps with a 100° beam angle there. However, these do not appear in LUMsearch!? To the Dialux enthusiasts: How did you solve this / how would you solve this? Many thanks!
