Without defining LED as a buzzword... I wouldn't use any LEDs at all... ahem... They don't burn constantly, they're not the best... why not simply halogen? :) It's not like I don't have LEDs, but for work lighting halogen is just more comfortable.

In short: because halogen always offers more pleasant light for a person.
LED is a bluish light (excluding colored effect lighting, as this is about main or work light), even if it is not perceived as such. Just google: LED or halogen

And that is exactly why one should not overestimate LED just because it is being praised everywhere. LED is not an all-rounder, nor is it a work light. An effect light that offers the advantage of not getting warm and not consuming much.

I do not know exactly what drives you to this opinion, but with proper light sources or lamps, there is nothing to fear. There are already very high-quality models available for around 10 EUR for various sockets...
