Hey,
just some opinions from you, whether this seriously goes against good "craftsmanship."
The kitchen is coming soon and until then I have to redo the floor and the walls. But we still have to cook (5-person household).
Now a colleague told me: Just leave the tiles under the old kitchen, put the new floor in front of it. That way I wouldn't have any pressure.
Assemble the new kitchen and then remove the old one and put up the new one. No one sees the old tiles anyway.
Somehow that makes sense, since my wife is already getting slightly panicky without the most important appliances being there.
