Leakage at roller shutter box cover

Today I noticed that cold drafts are coming through the gap at the roller shutter box cover. With today's gusts of wind, there is also a constant whistling sound. According to the IR thermometer, these spots are only 14°C, with an indoor temperature of 21.5°C. Can this gap be sealed somehow? The windows/roller shutters were installed exactly 2 years and 1 month ago. Therefore, unfortunately, I am out of the warranty period. The windows have a 5-year warranty, but the sun protection only has 2 years :(

You could glue an XPS board on it and repaint it. If the roller shutter needs to be repaired, you just have to scrape it off again and redo it. Is it the same on the other side?

no...you do that during renovations, but not in new construction :eek: o_O

Despite the expiration of the warranty - I would still ask questions. If the human interaction during the construction was fair and good, it will not be a problem to find a good solution. First thought: Obsolescence in construction!

You could check if there is still enough space in the box for a PU foam mat and stick it onto the maintenance plate...

It becomes tight through caulking.
