Loan fees are not permitted - even with home savings contracts.

What is permitted is a closing fee. However, this does not directly have anything to do with the home savings loan.

Right, that’s why the BSKs invent things like account management fees and the like.

But for me, an agio of 2% is really no different. (only that you don’t have to include it in the nominal interest rate.

According to the Price Indication Regulation, the contract fee for the building savings contract is also:

I’m saying, loan fees are not permissible. And an Agio (or Disagio, depending on the calculation direction) in my opinion constitutes a loan fee, which I would oppose. I am surprised that LBS still seems to do this today, most building societies have moved away from it for good reason (if they ever had it at all).

I cancelled the Riester Zuhause contract today and switched back to the old one. No more money is flowing in; he says if I take out a Bausparvertrag, I can transfer the money still in the Riester contract, or however it's called.

In any case, I do not want to pay additional taxes during retirement even if I could save money that way.
