we just have a bathtub measuring 180*70 cm in which we shower with a curtain (terrible but rental apartment), I find it takes significantly longer to warm up the air inside. the body parts that are not under the water get cold quickly (we don't have a rain shower but I think we do have an above-average large shower head).

I hardly ever touch the curtain when showering, so I wouldn't need 95cm of space now. 70 is really little, of course, I would plan with a finished size of 85-90cm ;) but I guess it's one of those matters of opinion again ;)

an open shower definitely needs a certain length, otherwise flooding in the bathroom ;)

mottenhausen has posted 2 plans, which one do you think now?

please not the one with the washbasin facing away from the window? (I already said why that is rubbish ;) )

This one is much better! I would only make the shower wall as long as possible (the exit from the shower should, I think, be at least 85cm) and then move the washbasin a bit away from the door, or push the door further towards the tub.

The second one will be it. I just need to figure out how to manage the laundry chute (in the representation drawn in the prefab element). We would move the door up a bit so that it stands 10-15 cm away from the bathtub.

the thing with the laundry chute is not that simple....

a quickly sketched attempt

masonry at the required depth for the chute. shelf space above for towels, shampoos, bath additives, decorations, etc.

flap for the drop

i just don't know if it fits, no idea how big such a flap needs to be.

alternative: reduce the front walling of the bathtub and then make it deeper at the back by the waste so that the toilet is not visible in front of the bathtub (seen from above)

from above with a third variant (front walling only at the WC)
