Hello! We plan to purchase a plot of land. We have now found one, but we are not yet finished having our finances checked. We would like to have it reserved. The employee from the district office who is selling the plot told us to send an informal application with a request for reservation, and he would then send us a confirmation. Could it be that there are costs involved, he did not mention anything about that. The reservation is set for half a year (which seems very long to me). And if you then withdraw from it, does that cost anything? Has anyone here had such a case before? Best regards

With us, it was also the case that the reservation "preliminary booking" only lasted until someone else came along and showed interest in it. Then you have to say yes, I will buy, and fix everything contractually. Otherwise, the property is gone. My experience with our municipality is that it costs dort nothing.
