We were searching for a property for a very long time and were on many lists of municipalities. Unfortunately, we had no success for 2 years. Now, with mixed feelings, we decided on a "compromise property" and bought it 2 months ago.
Just now, a municipality called me: "Congratulations, you may choose a property in the (beautiful!!!!) new development area." To be honest, I don’t know whether to laugh or cry. We financed our future house with the bank at the same time as the property. The house is almost fully planned, building application not yet submitted. What should we do now? We have 2 weeks to decide, then the property will be gone..

What do your finances say? If money is not a big issue, then buy the desired plot and build there. Costs that can arise: - Sale of the "old" plot at a lower price - Purchase incidental costs are doubled - Double planning costs - Costs at the bank, as you have an object change planned (higher financing required or non-acceptance compensation if less is needed) ...

Talk to the construction company and the bank. Would both support the new plot of land?
