Kombiofen for barrel sauna and additional roof covering wanted

So, today it finally started ;) A few hours in wonderful sunshine but bitter cold sorting the wood, leveling and installing the foundations (concrete lintels). Then already started with a few boards. It has progressed a bit further than in the picture, the two partition walls are already standing. Tomorrow at 8:00 am it continues...





After a long phone call, I chose today the Harvia sauna stove Virta Combi + Harvia Xenio Combi WiFi CX1104XW black control. If the electrician gives his okay regarding the maximum connection power, it will be the one.

Today it was even colder than yesterday. Therefore, I held back somewhat and only made breakfast and handed out instructions while my two nephews finished building the sauna. Great to have a family like that :-)

I'm afraid you're right. We also noticed that yesterday and I'll probably do it next year. Maybe it will just be placed next to the sauna, keeping some distance from the other little tree. The upper half will probably still be covered with a metal cap.

I thought rather that depending on the orientation, the seating area would more easily become overgrown with shading from the crown and foliage. I might plant a bamboo or another tall grass there.

The part would also look good in our garden, especially currently, -5 degrees and 15cm of snowwwww
