Knee wall specified by floor plan and bay window

What is the roof pitch now and how large are the corresponding rooms? Of course, it makes a difference if a large room with a steep roof pitch has a small knee wall compared to a small room. Basically, you can use this low space for shelves and closet space. In the past, people built without a knee wall and used the area as a storage space... Regards Yvonne

We have an internal knee wall of 170cm. In our previous apartment, it was just under 80cm. The space gained by the higher knee wall is significant. We would never build again with a lower knee wall.

We have a knee wall of 140 cm and can directly compare it with our current apartment, where we have a knee wall between 40 cm and 90 cm.

We are glad that in the future we can easily place furniture and will also hit our heads less often.

I would therefore recommend to you to make the knee wall higher, if at all possible.
