At Viebrockhaus, I particularly recommend dealing with the heating/ventilation concept.

There is also a quite nice forum for home enthusiasts.

If you want to engage more intensively with the manufacturer, I recommend the builder's weekend. Viebrockhaus invites its future builders with an overnight stay. During these 2 days, you learn a lot about building with Viebrockhaus. You can also take a look at what the company offers as standard.

However, you should keep in mind during the presentations that the speakers were commissioned by the company. So always question critically.

Overall, it was 2 very informative days for us, even though we ultimately decided against this provider.

The accommodation and catering were also very commendable.

Best regards

For that, the standard house price is higher as well. Provided the expert and inspection costs are included, all is good.

You should still compare standard and update... The latter doesn't have to be more expensive :)

exactly, that's not it... it's not about achieving some KFW standard, but also about how and what kind of added value it has for you. For example, Brockvieh achieves part of it through an air source heat pump with a relatively low annual performance factor. Just because another house heats with gas does not mean the living comfort is lower, even if it only reaches KFW70 as a result. Possibly, the house heated with gas even has better insulation. I think one should not chase after the numbers - neither in one direction (trying with all one's might to achieve KFW xy) nor in the other direction (evaluating a house solely based on construction costs).
