150m², insulation between Kfw 40 and 55, controlled residential ventilation with heat recovery. Room temperatures 20-21°, also in the bathroom.

With residual construction moisture, we will probably consume in the first year:
6500kWh heat for heating
+600kWh heat per person for hot water

Electricity consumption approx. 4000kWh per year for everything:
- 1500kWh air-water heat pump
- 360kWh ventilation
- Rest household

The air-water heat pump was planned above average and the location in Lower Saxony is reasonably mild, otherwise the consumption costs would be approximately at the level of gas.

For heating we currently pay about €30/month for green electricity in the household electricity tariff. With gas it would be about €15 more + chimney sweep + maintenance.

The question is whether the consumption is really that high or if perhaps the gas tariff is simply expensive?

It's actually more like a "Who has the longest game." If we consume 200,- more per year than someone with KFW 40 etc., we have also saved 20 thousand in the construction process because we did not use the KfW 40 standard, no blower door test, no controlled residential ventilation, no air-water heat pump, no PI system, but remained standard. So I already have a 100-year lead. K.

1. 1921, end of terrace house 100m2

2. no idea, but it was insulated in the 90s with a new front door; and roof insulation and windows are from 2017, basement insulation not yet present

3. €90, but we get about €350 back

4. €61, but we get about €120 back (gas heating from 2010)

5. 4 people

- Year of construction 2014
- Air-to-water heat pump / Controlled residential ventilation with heat recovery / KfW70 / 150 m²
- 3,300 kWh for air-to-water heat pump/controlled residential ventilation + 1,900 kWh household electricity = approx. 700 EUR air-to-water heat pump + 450 EUR household electricity
- 2 adults + 2 children

1: Year of construction 2015/16, 140 m² underfloor heating

2: Energy standard Gas condensing boiler + solar thermal water heating (orientation east),

3: Electricity costs (2018) ePrimo 2,800 kWh

4: Gas costs (2018) Vattenfall 1669 m³ -> 16,431 kWh

5: Number of consumers in the house 2.5

P.S. Heating ground floor 22.5 °C; top floor accordingly, bathroom 24 °C
