I only say: The issue has been dragged through the village for decades and, strangely, the electricity price is not getting any lower either.

Wishes and reality... well, you can figure out the rest.

Because the internet price doesn’t include a bit more, and for gas it's really little... for heat pumps, however, somewhat more (actually a lot more).

That's exactly what I wanted to imply. Our energy consultant told us that for KFW55 you have to build with controlled residential ventilation. Since we wanted to build with controlled residential ventilation anyway, I didn't question it further and I don't know if there's any truth to it.

Well, the work price has increased by 20% at the beginning of the year, thanks to the CO2 charge. The increases for the coming years are already fixed, and even the CDU is currently pushing for a faster progression of the charge. You really have to be blind...

A gas boiler is certainly initially cheap as a device, plus the connection, the flue pipe, and the solar thermal system to provide the renewable share. As a complete system, the investment is not far apart.

It is certainly possible without controlled residential ventilation. But if you want it anyway, it makes additional sense, as it positively affects the KFW calculation. Therefore, I find it sensible to implement what you want to install anyway and then see where you stand with a KFW calculation. The statement "we are building a KFW house" makes little sense to me. Ultimately, it can even become KFW40, etc., or not.

Gas is overall significantly cheaper than a heat pump. There can still be a lot of CO2 tax. Gas is more comfortable, more reliable, and less prone to errors. Therefore, I vote for gas.

Except for the gas connection, which has to be laid from the street into the house. The chimney. You don’t need all that with a heat pump. It’s not just the internet price of the gas boiler. There is quite a bit more to it. In the end, both systems are quite similar in terms of acquisition costs.
