KFW40 standard, legal regulation from 2009

Hello,

my architect told me today that from 2009 it will probably be a legal "must" that new buildings with Kfw 40 standard must have a solar system or photovoltaics. We wanted a water-water heat pump and therefore actually do not need a solar system. Photovoltaics are currently not an option for us because of the costs. Has anyone heard anything about this new regulation?

I would be very grateful for tips on what is mandatory and what can be omitted. I have the feeling the architect is trying to fit all the "new energy technologies" into our house. :confused:

so i have also heard about it but interpreted it differently... the KFW standard describes the possible energy consumption in your house. and with solaranlagen you can create more leeway...

so your feeling is not really deceiving you, your architect wants to "recommend" you a solar system so that he has more leeway in other areas regarding energy consumption and its planning... he may have good intentions, or he might want to save on the insulation...

so it is not a legal "must", as far as i can currently assess, but have a look at some offers for solar systems and calculate the costs over 10 years^^ heat pumps are normally only for large rooms
