Hello everyone,
I came across this forum through my Google search and a link there to a post with the same topic here in the forum, but I wanted to ask myself now.
I have the following concern:
My fixed interest period with two Kfw loans (currently 36 and 41 thousand euros) and the annuity loan expires after 10 years in January 24.
I have found different information online about how it works with the Kfw. Therefore my questions:
1. Can I simply repay one of the Kfw loans and possibly restructure the other? I have read that you cannot simply repay them but have to make use of the special termination right. Elsewhere it says you can simply reject their offer for new interest rates. So what is correct?
2. When exactly do I have to terminate, if necessary, to get the special termination right after 10 years?
Further questions:
3. Are there any fees (notary, land registry) for a debt restructuring?
4. How do you assess my plan to repay one KfW loan with own funds plus a private loan of 15,000? Conditions: 60 months term, special repayment possible, 4.95% nominal interest rate. I would then possibly take the other to my house bank or restructure it.
Do you have any other tips for me?
Thank you very much!!
