Thank you very much for the tip! I will talk to my architect about this. The copper pipes can probably be routed anywhere, right? Is it also allowed to embed the lines into the thin ceiling? We will also be making a reinforced concrete ceiling on the upper floor, and the pipes would definitely find a good place there. ;)

Thanks in advance!

You are allowed to do so, but whether you should is another matter, because they can also leak sometimes. Our installer made sure that all pipes are easily accessible and maintainable with minimal effort.

Yes, we did it that way. However, this only makes sense from a certain duct length and depth onwards. Most plots of land nowadays are too small for it. We also have a cooling system for the air (heat pump, cooling buffer, cold water coil…). Cooling via air only works properly from about 5x air exchange onwards. "Normal" controlled residential ventilation systems are far from this. Our entire system is designed for this. Therefore, it is not really suitable as an example. For a normal single-family house, I would always recommend a proper climate split unit. This has also been explained in some comments before.

Certainly, but I would then lay the pipes in the area of the concrete ceiling in a protective conduit. (A simple HT pipe is sufficient).
