KfW 55 - Requirement - Not fulfilled - Consequence

we can purchase a plot of land, but KfW55 is required in the sales conditions.

What can actually happen if I do NOT build according to KfW 55 and also do not have a KfW loan?

Without being familiar with such requirements, I would assume that a corresponding reversal clause in the property purchase contract will state that at the start of construction, a confirmation from KFW for a related application must also be available.

Alternatively, perhaps simply some kind of contractual penalty for non-compliance. The answer should be found in the said sales conditions. This is just speculation at this point...

Sales conditions are written into the notarized contract to which you are bound. For example, with us, it states that a 6cbm cistern must be installed within 5 years after moving in. Which basically does not hurt at the beginning.

The KfW 55 condition is a different matter. They will quickly come with penalties or enforcement demands.

A reversal of the purchase contract is only threatened in the very last case of unreasonableness, I can imagine.
