Had the opportunity to speak with 2 KFW assessors today. Afterwards, I sent them the thermal insulation certificate and execution planning. One of them said I could simply connect 2 radiators in the 2 unheated rooms via the sub-distribution of the underfloor heating. Although it has a low flow temperature, I could compensate for that with a larger radiator. It seems to be mainly about avoiding low temperatures in these rooms because condensation and later moisture damage can occur since half of the basement is heated and the other part is unheated. The radiators would prevent that. The other said that in addition to the insulation of the basement slab and basement exterior walls already planned, the interior walls from the cold basement to the heated basement could also be insulated. (Does that work?). Well, I have now sent the documents to both, let’s see what they write back. I would really like to know what my energy saving ordinance calculation says, but I don’t understand any of it.... so many values and numbers.... oh dear.....
