Justify building application - 40m extension zone at the highway

So it's something in between. The solid houses were built using a "cost-saving method." Whatever that means. They used red bricks with many holes and then built the walls. I'm not sure about the insulation.

The significance of these restricted zones doesn't seem to be entirely clear to you. They serve the expansion of the roads and must be kept free so as not to harm too many affected people. There's nothing you can do about it either; you will be expropriated, and then the highway will pass 2 meters past the bedroom window... Yeah... Better build somewhere else.

The home will then just be torn down, no one has to be compensated for it, and for some, that's even a reason to expand the highway. That's why it is allowed to stand there.
