The significant extra cost you hinted at for something I can't really recognize or understand is something I would not want to pay and would rather invest in other things in the house. The same question about the "better" option will basically come up for every component. I often read that people get fixated on one issue and invest massively, and then run out of resources elsewhere. In my first house build, I had wooden pine windows even from the local supplier and was very satisfied with them. Recently, I passed by and saw that they are still there as always. In the next project, "some" windows from Poland were installed without our input and there were no problems either. Now, with the new house, I unfortunately could not use my earlier supplier due to the distance, and our general contractor talked about TOP conditions he had there; and that was true. So this time it was Veka windows with a nice foil finish, simply also because the price was unbeatable. We like the windows, even though I probably would have preferred to go for the shelf with the more upscale providers. In return, however, we then had the money left over for nice blinds, air conditioning, or something else. My approach or conclusion would therefore be that I would only decide on the more expensive models if I could afford the same mindset in other areas, including furniture, carpets, choice of materials indoors, etc., because what good are the supposedly "better" windows if I don't notice them in daily life, when in many other areas I would rather have to take the cheaper option.
