Hi,
I see 2 possibilities
1. Take the chance and immediately install a new heat pump from another manufacturer with BAFA funding.
2. "Blackmail" the manufacturer with 1. and insist on a cheap goodwill solution, as it is obviously a model problem.
However, it would be helpful to know what kind of damage it is. If the heat pump was installed in such a way that gentle heat pump operation is not possible, then the next one might also soon break down.
Therefore
1. What exactly is the damage?
2. Is the heat pump fixed-speed or modulating?
3. What is the heating load and the minimum/maximum heating capacity?
4. How many compressor starts has the defective heat pump undergone?
Best regards Nika
