Good evening everyone,
we built with Deutsche Fertighaus Holding Allkauf Haus and received a controlled WRL. We have been living in the house for 5 months and both of us frequently feel nauseous, have headaches, burning eyes, ... I have been able to bring the humidity level to a maximum of 30% (in winter) using a humidifier. Now it is around 40%.
However, in our opinion, the problem is the air. No idea what it is. I then checked the ventilation ducts in the house with a smoke pen. The construction manager said at the beginning that the moist rooms (bathroom and kitchen) are extracted and fresh air is supplied to all others.
For us, it looks as follows:
Extraction: Guest room (upper floor), office (upper floor), gallery (upper floor), dressing room (upper floor), utility room (ground floor).
Supply air: Bedroom (upper floor), bathroom (upper floor), bathroom (ground floor), living room 3x (ground floor), kitchen (ground floor).
Is this correct?
Thanks and regards

So, supply air in the bathroom? Although it is the most humid there? Strange, don't you have a planner? Who measured and adjusted the air flow? Headaches can be caused by negative pressure in the house.

Planning and execution by Fa. Föll... from Münster. They are partners of Deutsche Fertighaus Holding.

Hi,

Did you call them? Supply air in the bathroom and kitchen would be very strange. It has to be exhaust air in each case. You can argue about all the other rooms if necessary, but exhaust air is set for them. It could be that someone connected something incorrectly. The eye burning can come from the low humidity, many people react to that. But I have my doubts whether the headaches could come from the negative pressure. There can't be so much negative pressure that you get altitude sickness like a mountaineer, right?

Regards,

Andreas

Guest rooms are living or sleeping areas to be provided with supply air, kitchen, dressing room, bathrooms and utility room to be equipped with exhaust air.

In the bathroom, it is always vented, otherwise the nice [dürfte] would be pushed into the whole house. The fan is probably connected the wrong way around. Have you applied for KFW? The KFW assessor would have had to check the correct setting of the ventilation system after acceptance.
