The same amount of supply air and exhaust air is planned on every floor. To avoid overpressure or underpressure and strong drafts in the house.

Supply air is normally provided in living and sleeping rooms. Exhaust air in the kitchen, bathrooms, laundry room, etc.

In the basement, I also find supply air important; it helps with drying laundry. Items stored in the basement also do not start to smell musty (documents, clothing...).

We have Zehnder.

EG
Kitchen, WC, Utility room - exhaust air
WZ - 2x supply air

OG
Bathroom, Office/Dressing room - exhaust air
2KZ, Bedroom supply air

The planning was done by a FA.
minimum door gap 8mm

Exhaust air in utility room and dressing room has been throttled so that more air is extracted in the other damp rooms.

It also works without a floor gap (forum search, otherwise ask again).

Also have no floor gap, but the ventilation gap in the frame. Works well.

Isn't a gap like that (no matter where) an acoustic problem?
