I agree with , but above all, I see no problem at all: what you want is basically just a reversal of the master/slave relationship, meaning swapping 2 and 3 as the sliding parts and 1 and 4 as the fixed parts, exactly the other way around. Moreover, you say that as long as in the end 2 and 3 remain the "fixed" parts, an opening of only 1 or 4 would be sufficient for you. Therefore, my "suggestion for a compromise" would be to reverse only one of the two pairs and not reverse the sequence from (viewed from the inside) as planned Fixed-Sliding-Sliding-Fixed into Sliding-Fixed-Fixed-Sliding, but rather into Fixed-Sliding-Fixed-Sliding or Sliding-Fixed-Sliding-Fixed (meaning that 1 and 3 or 2 and 4 are the sliding parts, and you simply don’t use one of the two sliding options, but a subsequent owner wouldn’t need to change anything). From my point of view (former aluminum window manufacturer, afterwards dealer of all materials) this is even feasible in PVC, although here on the ground floor I would choose aluminum.
