Is the bungalow floor plan realistic? With a basement or better without?

Hello everyone.

Since I have been dreaming of a little house for a long time, I tried to put my ideas into a plan. Please forgive me for some beginner mistakes in the plan. ;-)

I would like to hear some thoughts from professionals to get a feeling for what is possible and what is less so. Since building will still take some time for me, there is no rush.

Since I would like to stay on one level, the floor area is naturally somewhat larger.

I am still undecided about whether a basement is needed, maybe some suggestions on that as well.

Thank you

Do you really want to walk through the living room at night and past the front door with glass elements to get to the bathroom?

Otherwise, I first find the hallway to be too much wasted space...

The problem is the square floor plan. Go more towards the rectangle, then where your bathroom is, there should be a utility room plus guest WC. The utility room should face the street, that's where the connections come in. Never have the utility room trapped in the middle. The bathroom should then be next to the bedroom. The rest follows.

"Child n (hobby)" sounds cute - sure, professionally you wouldn’t bring them into the world ;-)

The house size doesn’t look like it belongs to a civil servant in training, rather to a senior officer with plenty of decoration on the shoulders (and a chauffeur). Major general ;-)

I don’t know how close to the cellar the plots in Lower Austria are. Around here, usually the Holsteiner builds without and the Allgäuer with.

The room sizes are as awkward as their arrangement. The hallway is ballroom-sized, the utility room is interior and results, for example, from the house dimensions - but also from the indecision about whether it should be in the basement. The cellar stairs only work at this scale as a shaft to fall down or for a ladder.

First get a concrete plot and the financing (which in my opinion will significantly shrink the palace).
