Hello everyone. We have an area in the knee wall where the wood of the roof truss is set back further than the wall. The roof slope begins on the wood. Since the area is set back too far, we plan to nail a "Sauerkraut board"/coarse wood fabric onto the wood. This is then to be plastered thicker. The problem is that we laid the vapor barrier over the wood. We fixed the edge with underplaster tape. To seal the holes from the nails, I thought of using nail sealing tape. However, I don’t understand how the tape works. The fabric does not create counterpressure on the hole from the nail. Does the tape still work? Are there alternatives?
