Is it possible to renovate a residential house from 1954 into an energy-efficient house? How?

So today I would like to provide some pictures of the exterior view so you can get an impression.

That almost all looks neat and charming, except for the veranda extension, about which we already agreed once. The extension on the living room looks decidedly more solidly put up. The roofing seems quite new, and the facade also makes a good impression. I am eagerly awaiting the further completion of my "housework" from post #18.

Oh, the attic conversion has progressed significantly compared to the old plan from #8.

Renovating that is more expensive, or at best not cheaper, than a simple new house - unless you want to do everything yourself. If you answer no to the second, build new.

This is probably not expected here either. For one person, a house with corner windows and walk-in showers is important, for another, it means more that the house has belonged to the family for a long time. The house certainly has more originality than what you could achieve by painting carmine-red wall projections or smokey eyes onto a standard 08/15 house. I consider a surcharge in the form of a non-lower price to be acceptable. However, I expect several months of my own labor to undo old conversion and expansion measures.
