Is Ikea Faktum compatible with Metod?

Hello dear Ikea fans,

I know that theoretically you cannot combine Faktum with Metod, but my question is, can you still use the carcasses and put different doors on them? On the other hand, I have read that the new cabinets have different heights, so that wouldn't work. Maybe one of you has already "tinkered" with this and can share your experience.
