Is fine plaster (Q2 lime cement or gypsum) sufficient for living space?

Inquiry regarding this: Is this the above-mentioned "StoSil Struktur Medium" with brush smudging?

We are still considering whether and which structure we might apply (on our Q2 lime cement plaster), perhaps more in the direction of a point-like grain structure or a fine wiped-ripple structure.

That's how it is: you can see where it has been sanded. The surface looks completely different than where it is rough. We also have such a wall.

Yes, that's correct.

That is totally okay.

I am also completely satisfied with it. On edges, you might see streaks, which I don't find bad. In the guest bathroom, we repaired and sanded a bit with plaster... then put latex paint on, and you can see every irregularity, even though everything is smooth.

If it had looked so even and without major dents for us, I would have left it as it is, looks good.
For us, the surface itself was not quite even and the large dents had to be repaired – these were then totally smooth and the rest more or less textured...
