Is fine plaster (Q2 lime cement or gypsum) sufficient for living space?

Sometimes you have to break the lance. Not everyone has to have everything perfectly smooth. [Q2 gestrichen] also has its advantages.

With us, it was also searched in Q2. We also removed it immediately - has a woodchip wallpaper look

Exactly. That now means "Industrial Style," "raw." In the Eppendorf lofts, they really go all out for that, Karsten

So it works, that sounds good. Of course, you would have to take a look beforehand to see if it really looks the way you imagine it.

I also find that nice and will leave the largest wall in my living room in the q2 look and not paint it either. It will then look a bit patchy with stripes and unevenness.

We also would have liked the Q2 surface, but there were even bigger dents in it. And once you start to do filler work, you basically have to fill and sand the entire surface. Our plasterers only patched up certain spots, and it just looked dumb (very uneven surfaces, messy transitions), so we made corrections and inevitably ended up almost at Q4.

We had commissioned Q3, and the following prices were quoted for 146 sqm: 1000 euros for solid walls on the ground floor and gable walls on the upper floor (this does not seem to be the plasterers’ daily business – after three rounds of corrections, we did it ourselves) 1300 euros for Gioskarton surfaces on the upper floor (these turned out perfect) 800 euros for the concrete ceiling (this was probably a bargain, the drywall installer had a lot of work and achieved a very good result – but we were also warned that you might not completely get rid of offsets)

However, I have also read about 5000-7000 euros for the entire house in Q3. I think we came out very cheaply (even if with additional effort).
