Yes, then we should save for another 10 years and get one from the [Zwangsversteigerung] :D

Wow! I'm curious to see what the banks will tell us.

We already wanted to have something of our own :( But not at any price!
If we can't afford it, then unfortunately that's just how it is! It's a shame, but I also don't want to have to sell our little house in a few years :(

I see the house as my retirement provision, but the monthly rent is gone...

Well, you can also pay 600 € rent and save the other 600 € every month (however and wherever)... then you'll have a lump sum of money at retirement that you can spend :)

And then I have to help the banks out with my own capital / pension.. ;)

No, well, having your own little house would be something nice!

What kind of amount would you fully expect with me? 300,000?

can work, but doesn't have to. Depends entirely on the ancillary construction costs.

Hello,

we have now budgeted €350,000 for a house that is 10sqm larger, but without a garage (unless there is some money left over ;)).
We are paying €22,000 more for the plot than you.

You should probably budget around €330,000 - €340,000. But as Der Da already said, it depends on the additional costs. I believe he spent another €10,000 on soil replacement.

Is the 90 in your nickname your birth year? Then you are still quite young and your income can still increase in the coming years, allowing you to build up quite a bit of savings.

47sqm as Kfw70 for 165k Euros in the NRW area sounds suspicious. Please send me a private message telling me who the offer is from...

There is a strong suspicion of CHARLATANS. I got EXACTLY these base prices calculated as well... from someone who only pocketed "planning costs," was no longer available after receiving the money, and watched my employer's bankruptcy from afar.

This scam cost me a neat 50k Euros (!).
