Is an offer binding or are deviations allowed?

Then you have to stick to the offer yourself or have every change covered by a new offer.

And, as hilfehilfe said ... it is also within the 20% frame.

It wasn't as if I hadn't asked for a new offer, We don't need that, the bricks are cheaper and we'll come to an agreement.

If not a reduced amount, then certainly no surcharge! Besides, practice and theory are always two different things.

What I mean is: when the bricks were chosen, he was already building, I don't think he'll write me a new offer in practice then.

Yeah sorry then he screwed you ..... or did you sign a protocol? Always get stuff like that in writing

There is an official price list from the manufacturer....does he not have to justify why he charges so much more?

Also, if I had done it in writing like: Please take these and those tiles and I assume they are cheaper.....if he then gives me a bad price, am I supposed to change the roofer...that’s not possible either....

It’s just not nice when you have to record everything in detail in writing beforehand, no changes are really possible anymore, and you get ripped off like a Christmas goose....but apparently that’s how our law is?

From now on, I do everything only in writing. Everything.

Yep, he is now clarifying with his supplier why they were so expensive.... I just want to get some information here beforehand about the situation when I receive the answer tomorrow....

I would like to settle this, no desire for the stress.
